Andrew Solarski began his collegiate career at Austin Peay State University where he played on the varsity tennis team and majored in political science. After two years at Austin Peay, Andrew transferred to the University of Memphis where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2011, Andrew began attending Cecil C. Humphreys University of Memphis School of Law.
It was at Cecil C. Humphreys where Andrew first became interested in Immigration Law after participating in a spring break program aimed at helping low income individuals obtain U visas. During the summer of 2012, Andrew interned for Judge Wayne Stogner at the Immigration Court in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2013, Andrew led his law school’s Alternative Spring break program which saw dozens of law students from all across the country come to volunteer in seven different tracks designed to help low income individuals.
During the summer of 2013, Andrew clerked for the immigration law firm of Ware Immigration in New Orleans, LA. During his law school career, Andrew was also a member of the Moot Court Board and the International Law Moot Court team. Andrew graduated from Cecil C. Humphreys University of Memphis School of Law in 2014 and was named a Law Student for Justice by the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Access to Justice to Commission and given the Dean’s Distinguished Service Award. In the fall of 2014, Andrew passed the Texas State Bar and in 2015 Andrew joined CINA of Nashville, PC as an Associate Attorney where he practiced solely immigration law with a focus on immigration court and affirmative filings with USCIS.
In 2016, Andrew joined Community Law Group, PLLC and was named the AILA ICE Liaison to Tennessee. In his free time Andrew enjoys playing tennis and is a member of the USTA.
Thomas Jay Brown
Mr. Brown is the Department Manager and lead attorney for Community Law Group’s Civil and Criminal Divisions. Previously the Managing Member of a mid-sized Miami, Florida foreclosure and bankruptcy firm, Mr. Brown brings to CLG his broad knowledge base on a wide range of business and legal matters.
Mr. Brown has gained extensive experience representing clients in both domestic and criminal matters across multiple jurisdictions in Middle Tennessee. Mr. Brown was instrumental in opening the area’s juvenile courts to hear Special Immigrant Juvenile Guardianship cases which has helped many abused, neglected and abandoned minors avoid deportation back to their country of origin. Mr. Brown specializes in the areas of divorce, child custody, parentage, child support and the defense of criminal charges.
A skilled legal drafter, Mr. Brown also drafts contracts, deeds and other agreements necessarily tailored to a client’s specific needs. Mr. Brown takes a tactical approach to his matters, providing thoughtful counsel and advice that is guided by his client’s overall objectives and best legal interests.
Mr. Brown lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife, Alexis, and their son, Sidney.

Nathan Colburn loves East Nashville and is proud to call it home. Nathan is a transplant to the area from Bowling Green, KY. For the first twenty-four years of his life Nathan pursued education and the arts. He plays Bluegrass and Americana music. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.
In 2009 Nathan graduated from the Appalachian School of Law. While at ASL he received honors for Moot Court and community service. He also was the production editor of the school’s Natural Resource Journal. Thereafter, he opened his practice in Nashville so he could immerse himself in the arts community and practice law.
Nathan has a general practice that ranges from entertainment, business, family, civil, criminal, juvenile, real property, wills and trusts, probate and appeals.
Nathan is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (TACDL) and is a 2011 graduate of the TACDL Trial College.
