Sara Girma Campbell is an Immigration Attorney at the Community Law Group, PLLC (CLG). Ms. Campbell’s practice includes assisting clients in the preparation and filing of applications with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), removal defense, and representing clients at asylum or Credible Fear Interviews. She completed her undergraduate studies in Tennessee and law school in North Carolina. While in law school, Ms. Campbell was a member of the Christian Legal Society, Women in Law, and the Public Interest Law Society, which intensified Ms. Campbell’s passion to help members of underrepresented populations.
Before joining CLG, Ms. Campbell worked with non-profit organizations such as Latin American Coalition and Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc. and private law firms where she helped undocumented individuals apply for various forms of relief.
Ms. Campbell was born and raised in Ethiopia and speaks fluent Amharic and English. She enjoys traveling and meeting new people, illustrated by having spent six months learning Spanish in Madrid, Spain, as well as a month in Antigua, Guatemala. She is happy to have had the opportunity to become a naturalized United States citizen. As a result, she strives to help immigrants pursue various forms of relief in the United States. Ms. Campbell is a member of the North Carolina bar and is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Her practice in Tennessee is limited to immigration law.
